Newspapers

Newspapers

Recent copies of newspapers are kept on Level 1 in the General Library. That includes The New Zealand Herald and several overseas newspapers.

Databases with full-text newspaper articles

Newztext has several current New Zealand newspapers, including The New Zealand Herald since 1998.
The Australia New Zealand Reference Centre includes the Herald since December 2001.

Indexes

The databases FindNZarticles and Newzindex selectively index newspaper articles. They give you references and brief abstracts (summaries) of the articles. Search in the Library catalogue to find the newspapers in the Library or in one of the online databases.
