Request for Comments (RFCs)
The Requests for Comments (RFCs) form a series of notes, started in 1969, about the Internet (originally the ARPANET). The notes discuss many aspects of computer communication, focusing on networking protocols, procedures, programs, and concepts but also including meeting notes opinion.
RFC Search and Retrieval: search by number, title, author, keywords or in all fields.

Unicode
The Unicode Consortium brings together software industry corporations and researchers at the leading edge of standardizing international character encoding. The outcome of this cooperation is the Unicode Standard, which provides the foundation for internationalization and localization of software. The site also includes a glossary, technical reports, Unicode enabled products, FQA etc.

Databases Top of page

ACM Digital Library
ACM Digital Library contains the bibliographic information and full text for articles published in Association for Computing Machinery journals, magazines and conference proceedings. The database can be searched by author, or by keyword in the article titles, full-text, reviews, index terms or abstracts. The database can also be browsed under journal or magazine titles, and conference proceedings can be browsed by subject, sponsor or series.

IEEE Xplore
IEEE Xplore is a full text database which provides nearly one third of the world's current literature in electrical engineering, electronics and computer science. IEEE Xplore covers almost all of the IEEE and IEE transactions, journals, magazines and conference proceedings published since 1988, as well as all current IEEE standards. The database can be searched by author, by subject, or by keyword in the article titles or abstracts. The database can also be browsed under IEEE/IEE journal titles, titles of conference proceedings or titles of IEEE standards.
